Tonight’s meal used 7 goodies from today’s harvest: buttercup squash, chayote squash, potatoes, carrots, apple, tomato, and chili pepper. The buttercup squash was sublime. Earthy, sweet, and creamy. It Runneth Over
“Whatever is on your side is yours,” said our neighbour PM, whose apple tree stretches over our shared chain link fence onto our yard. The apples are just starting to turn red, and can be very tart if picked too soon, so hoping to harvest in a week or two. I think they’re gravenstein apples.Continue reading “It Runneth Over”
